𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟯 | 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗖 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆

The third day of the PASUC Annual Convention and General Assembly featured an inspiring keynote address by 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗) 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗖. 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝘂𝗽𝗶𝘀, 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲, "𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿: 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀, 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁."

In her address, Chair Agrupis emphasized the importance of collaborative leadership in advancing the country's higher education sector. She highlighted that meaningful transformation can only be achieved through the collective efforts of higher education institutions, government agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders working toward a common vision of excellence, innovation, and inclusivity.

She underscored the value of fostering stronger partnerships that empower institutions to address emerging challenges, embrace digital transformation, strengthen research and innovation, and produce globally competitive graduates. Chair Agrupis also encouraged university and college leaders to cultivate a culture of shared responsibility, where collaboration and mutual support serve as the foundation for sustainable development and institutional growth.

The session reinforced CHED's commitment to enhancing the quality, accessibility, and relevance of Philippine higher education through strategic initiatives and partnerships. Participants gained valuable insights into the critical role of unified leadership in building resilient institutions capable of responding to the evolving demands of the education landscape.

As the convention progressed, the keynote inspired delegates to strengthen cooperation across sectors and reaffirmed the shared responsibility of shaping a future-ready higher education system that creates lasting and meaningful impact for Filipino learners and communities.
